Once upon a time there lived a maiden..
She was the last human in the enchanted kingdom of Whimsy, hidden away when shadows and merciless evil forces swept across the land. When she was just a baby and the land began to turn sinister, her mother, brave and desperate, whispered a plea to the fae, begging them to hide her daughter away where darkness couldn’t find her. The fae, ever curious and kind (especially on Thursdays) agreed, and welcomed her into their world.
They raised the girl as one of their own, cloaking her with glamours and ancient gifts to shield her from harm and discovery. They gave her little enchantments—like the ability to speak to dragonflies or turn teardrops into pearls. She, in turn, offered them laughter, inquisitive questions, and songs no one had heard in centuries.
The girl grew, wild and wide-eyed. When she was old enough to wear a crown of woven moonbeams, they gave her a place in their court, and named her The Duchess of Whimsy and sent her to be their bridge to the human world. In her journeys, she met other humans, and something stirred in her: a longing to share the magic she had known.Â
So she began to create—she crafts tiny treasures and charming trinkets, each one kissed with a hint of fae magic. Her creations are meant to be shared—to delight, to inspire, and to remind us that magic is never far away.
